Sun Worshipper

I am a sun worshipper by tradition. I follow rituals that were taught to me in childhood, whereas I am starting to know the significance of those now at a mature age of 40. The rituals are quite mundane, and do not make any logical sense in a scientific way. Those are more of symbolic rituals, with much deeper meaning to it than what meets the eye. Sun represents the soul. In other words, we are the soul worshippers. The soul is self , hidden from mind and unperceivable by mind and stands apart from mind, in a sense we surrender to the soul and give-up our mind. Sun is the closest comparison to the soul, in a philosophical way.

I remember when I was young I used to question the validity of these mundane rituals, and out-rightly rejected it. I had thousand questions why worship sun when it is nothing but a hot helium gas ball, and I used to bring my fifth standard textbook and used to give reference from it. My father who is an Engineer used to have a hearty laugh then, and the only answer he used to give was, you would know when you mature. However, that failed to convince me then. Now my father is not in a state to speak. When he started to say things in detail that came true, to the extent that we started to panic, he lost his speech. I have gone a full circle now. After my research and learning from numerous Gurus on Metaphysics and spirituality, I have realized the significance of those humble mundane rituals, and how they play a vital role in uplifting the soul of human being, and helps to stay constantly connected to the supreme being where we all origin from.  

There are many other planetary systems in the vast empty universe filled with black matters. Sun is the center of our solar system and all life form in our solar system governed by it. In the absence of any clear reference to the center of the universe, we can always take sun as the center of the universe and everything else can be seen in reference to it, and at least everything under the sun governed by its rule. Sun worshiping is a philosophy that has many aspects to it.

History of sun worship traced back to thousands of years. Sun worshippers had reached the pinnacle of success and had created Pyramids and Pagodas. The royals in the ancient history were predominantly sun worshippers. Archaeology has traced sun temples in all continents. They were the ultimate and only true ruler of world at one point of time. Sun worshippers considered the only people worth assuming ruler or leadership position, as they make ultimate sacrifice for people. As per Indian mythology Rama is considered Sun(soul/father) worshiper where as Krishna considered Moon (mind/mother) worshiper.

As per Indian mythology, Sun (Soul, Male) brings bright day light which shows reality. On the other hand, Moon (Mind, female) represents moonlight that need mind to imagine the reality. In a shadowy moonlight many figures appears and mind plays its game of imagination. No matter how brilliant you imagine, it will be always far from truth. The harder you imagine the farther you go from truth. And you are never sure about the truth. You try to find the truth by taking opinion from other who has their own imagination, and common imaginations considered as the truth. With such imaginary truth, you can be never be sure of your decisions, and even if you take decision your actions will be feeble, so the result is almost non-existence. On the other hand in bright day light there is nothing to imagine, the truth is naked in front of you for all to see. There is nothing to discuss and there is no need to take opinion about. In broad daylight, every situation comes with its logical response. So the decisions taken are instant, without error, and the action is powerful so the result assured. With the rise of soul, life becomes clear. As per many sun worshippers, they feel there is a supernatural power that works for them always and pave way for them in life. They know how life works; they have power to alter the course of life. They can be whatever they want to be, but they cannot feel it or enjoy it. Life when is completely in your control and feelings are gone, there remain no surprise or fun in life. So the only purpose of life of a sun worshipper remains is bringing order to life for social benefit.

Sun represents order and discipline. No matter what happens, sun does not stop; it moves on its path and observes discipline, however mundane it might sound. Sun is harsh, and ritualistic and ultimate source of life. The only purpose of its existence is to give life and clarity to life, so is the life of sun worshippers. In one sense, they show ultimate love for people, they give their life to the people. Most of them do not have personal life of their own whatsoever. Many of them live in oblivion, far from public life, dedicated life for betterment of human race, and many other remain 24hrs in the public life giving up their personal life completely. Accomplished sun worshippers cannot distinguish pain from pleasure, happiness from sorrow; they have no feelings.

Sun worshippers prefer food that blessed by sun, mostly sweet testing fruits, creels, green vegetables, and small amount of pulses. Meat is a strict no, food that does not test sweet are prohibited, and For example, tomato, bitter-guard, lemon, chili, and un-ripe fruits are not preferred food. Those occasionally taken in very little quantity for medicine reasons only and it applies to spices too. However, Some of them observe no restriction of food of any kind.

In animal kingdom, they represent lion. My father use to tell this saying to me often with reference to lion “...Sheer ke khal ka bhi ek keemat hota hai”. That means live like a lion because “even skin of a dead lion worth more than a live dog”. A lion will never meow in the fear of death, no matter what the condition is, it retains its nature of roaring, and on the face of death, it charges towards its adversary without showing a tress of fear.

I came to know recently that there exists many societies those still actively worship sun. Many societies keep it secret to themselves and they assume many world leadership position. In the society today, it is very difficult to keep a secret, so those societies have almost gone underground, or have put forward a public face acceptable socially in contrast to their real endeavourers.

Sun worshiping induces leadership, unprecedented courage and access to truth. Sun worshippers blessed with vision to distinguish fact from fiction in a fraction of a second. It is very difficult to conceal anything from them, and they don’t lie either. They carry no fear of death of their own. They can take decisions that an ordinary person will shiver to think. They can swiftly declare a war and annihilate a race for principle, and they will not even take a second to take such decision, and will show no remorse for it. They remain in the very forefront of scientific research in world. They are in control and, they eventually have the last laugh.

Sun worshiping is not an easy thing. If you are not already in it is quite difficult to get into it. There is a very long trial period in front of a ‘lets say a Guru’ before you are really get introduced into it. Ordinary people are so used to mind that it’s almost impossible to give-up mind and see through soul. A humble dedicated disciple is systematically broken down and re-constituted. It is like making a Rocket out of a Car, you can only make a Rocket out of a Car by completely breaking a Car and using its metal for Rocket. There will be no trace of Car in the Rocket.

An interesting thing about sun worshipper is they will look very dumb externally, as many of them would have given up thinking long ago. They can only operate in out of the world situation. Either in a very high leadership position where they will have people to guide them for worldly matter even to locate a bathroom in a five star hotel lobby, Or as a humble saint, where they do not have to cope up with the worldly life, as normal people cannot adjust to them. If you ask some suggestion from them, they will tell you things that will sound strange and unreasonable to you. However following them will give unprecedented success. A word of caution, do not interpret their words in your own way, if you do not get it ask them to elaborate it to action items. If they are on a mission, they will forget to even eat and sleep and you will hardly see them tired. They crush everything that comes on the way of their mission. Sun Worshippers believe that female cannot give-up their mind, and they should not, so women are not encouraged to do sun worshiping. However, they very well realize that the world is impossible without mind, and women given their due respect as carrier of mind. The world as per them comprises of mind and soul. Soul is the self-where as mind occurs to the self. Self-remains a witness to all that happens to mind, and world happens in mind. Therefore, sun worshippers believe that woman is the real creator of the world the way everyone sees it.

According to sun worshippers, life possible only with combination of soul and mind, and everyone receive those from father and mother respectively. They believe, for their salvation from world they must return both of these to the world. To do so they always wish son and daughter, So that in a way they can return both soul and mind to the world that due to them. In other word, a man’s salvation is possible if he has a daughter to give to a suitable boy for marriage and a woman’s salvation is possible only if she gives birth to a boy.

Many sun worshippers later moved to moon worshiping as they consider voice of soul is not worth following in this worldly life. In the world we are, we must live in a dreamy state with pleasure, pain, happiness, sorrow, union, separation, and that is what makes the life interesting. Post knowing the ultimate truth life becomes dull and ritualistic. After knowing, the ultimate truth there remains no feelings. Feelings are all part of mind and death of mind takes away the very essence of life. So many sun worshippers did not introduce their children to sun worshiping. Sun worshiping calls for sacrifice of all worldly desire and comfort, contrary to moon worshippers who enjoy all form of pleasure and comfort of worldly life.

Religions and Gods known to all are creation of mind (Moon). In the domain of mind, God is an over bitten concept, seen in a dreamy state. That is the reason that there are so-many religion in the world, and no one is sure of what to believe and what not to. We have to rely on mythology, scriptures, and opinions and still the God is not a sure thing for anyone. Everyone is searching for meaning of life, analyzing his or her dream in the dream, in reference to knowledge derived from dream. That is the nature of moon, the illusion. Sun worshippers laugh about this thought of people on religion, spirituality and their righteousness about concept of god. But, they conceal reality from everyone. It is not possible to communicate reality in language, and not easy to grasp, and it is not worth it.

With all imperfection and contradictions of love, hate, war, peace, anger, frustration, union, separation, and chaos the unreal world is far better than the reality. Reality is eternal and your ultimate home, life is momentary, life is a gift given to you because you craved for it, you have full control over it, you can make it the way you want it to be. So, take the gift (life) and enjoy every moment of it as long as you have it. Not enjoying life will be ultimate insult to the giver of life. Knowing reality is almost equal to death. So the advice a sun worshipper gives to all in the world is don’t look for God or meaning of life, you will know it eventually when you return to it. In the world, enjoy the life to its fullest in totality. Try to make it a pleasant experience, feel the feelings as you get with each experience, enjoy all feelings, that the giver of life your mother will wish you to have.
